GeekNation Show #139 – Love and Light

The Film Pigs are joined once again by actress/singer/educator Hilary Anderson, wife of one of the guys (we can’t remember which one). She charms the guys with her Rash Judgment, and keeps pace with them in the realm of popcorn. Then, a trailer for an enlightening new movie that challenges you to have faith! Kick up your feet, it’s fun time with the Pigs time once again!

GeekNation Show #138 – Expository Nonsense

Kether Donohue of You’re the Worst and Lauran September are this week’s special guest hosts, leaving Steve Skelton and Todd Anderson to fill in the guest spots. It’s an upside down episode, the world is a topsy-turvy place, but that doesn’t mean there won’t still be popcorn, Rash Judgments (including one for Furious 7) and a world premiere trailer for a wacky new studio comedy! What more could you want?

GeekNation Show #137 – The Queen of Scream

Steve, Steve, and Todd are joined by Danielle Harris, star of most of the horror movies that have been made in the last decade as well as a whole mess of Halloween movies and The Last Boy Scout. After enjoying their popcorn, they buckle down for a rousing round of Rash Judgments about the week’s big feature film releases, including Get Hard, among others. Then, Danielle does her absolute best to teach the boys how to be scream queens. Sure, it doesn’t make sense to teach a bunch of middle-aged guys how to be scream queens, but she tries anyway. Pour yourself a tall glass of popcorn and get down with the Pigs!

GeekNation Show #136 – Bro Hug

What has a goofy sense of humor, can’t stop talking about movies, and drinks liquid popcorn? The Film Pigs, of course! This week, they talk about the movies coming out over the weekend, including something called “Zombeavers.” Then, they unveil a meta trailer for the latest bromance comedy movie. All this while imbibing copious amounts of popcorn? A miracle, we say!

Commentary #48 – After Earth (2013)

poster_afterearth

It’s the first new Pigs movie commentary in a long, long time to feature all three pigs! And how do we choose to celebrate this special occasion? By sitting through the Will/Jaden Smith starring, M. Knight Shyamalan directed AFTER EARTH! It’s the timeless story of a rich movie star using his influence to get a clunky science fiction movie made featuring his son. Who can’t relate to that? So, curl up in your favorite space hammock and enjoy! Watch out for the meatball!
