Han Solo, P.I.
Combines two of my favorite things: Han Solo and Magnum P.I. (found via Gizmodo). See entire blog post for comparison video. Continue reading Han Solo, P.I.
Shatnerquake!
Marvel at the (genius, terror, dumbness?) of a book about William Shatner fighting all his (beloved, reviled, begrudgingly acknowledged?) characters at a convention being held in honor of…William Shatner. Plus, Bruce Campbell is thrown in for good measure. Sounds like the perfect thing to download to your Kindle, along with paid subscriptions to newspapers and blogs you can get for free on the actual internet. But what do you care? You just paid almost $400 for a Kindle. Continue reading Shatnerquake!
Vampire Argument By Real Scientists Makes Our Zombie Debate Look Amatuerish
Not to discount our zombie debate, but these guys used math and stuff:
Two physicists have published an academic paper where they demonstrate, by virtue of geometric progression, that vampires could not exist, since they would almost immediately deplete their entire food supply (a.k.a, all of us).
The best part is this argument has been going on since at least 1982 in the form of various scientific papers. See Physicists Prove That Vampires Could Not Exist at io9 for the entire article.

Rorschach To Play Freddy?
According to BBC News:
Actor Jackie Earle Haley has signed up to play iconic killer Freddy Krueger in a remake of the 1984 A Nightmare on Elm Street film series, reports have said.
Industry magazine The Hollywood Reporter said the Watchmen actor has landed the starring role, which was originally played by Robert Englund.
If this is true, then this is a remake I would actually want to see. Didn’t care for Watchmen as a movie, but Haley was awesome as Rorschach. And I can actually see him as Freddy.
